Matt Lewis has been a regular face on the Chicago music scene since 1993. A graduate of DePaul University, Matt has been leading his own band since 1999. In addition to the Swing Shift Orchestra, Matt also leads the Chicago Groove Collective and is an Artist in Residence for the Ravinia Festival Music Discovery Program. Matt performed for 2 1/2 years with actor Gary Sinise's "Lt. Dan" Band, which tours internationally for U.S. troops. Matt has numerous recording credits including a Grammy nominated album with Ralph Covert as well as projects for the Joffrey Ballet, Steppenwolf Theatre and The Goodman Theatre.
