Vincent received his Bachelor’s in Jazz Studies degree from Elmhurst College, where he played guitar in the internationally acclaimed EC Jazz Band, touring Europe and performing with numerous jazz greats including Dennis Mackrel, Jiggs Whigham, Gary Smulyan, and John Pizzarelli. He wears many musical hats, working as an acoustic bassist, guitarist, DJ, composer, recording engineer, audio consultant, and teacher. Vincent can frequently be found in clubs around Chicago and the Midwest performing with the indie-rock trio Kyle Mann Speaks to Clouds, Somacorps, Sine Language, or one of the various jazz combos with whom he is involved. Passionate about more styles of music than one can count, Vincent is as comfortable playing bass in a jazz trio as he is serving up beats for an avant-garde chamber ensemble.
