A native of Arlington Heights, Allison has been on the Chicago music scene for almost 9 years. She received her bachelor’s degree in music education and jazz voice from the Chicago College of Performing Arts of Roosevelt University. While at the CCPA, Allison was a member of New Deal, the award-winning vocal jazz ensemble, as well as the Grant Park Symphony Chorus and the University Chorus. Allison has taught general music at Madison School in Skokie in addition to developmental gymnastics and dance at The Little Gym of Chicago.  She has numerous stage and music directing credits including The Wiz, Bye Bye Birdie, West Side Story, High School Musical, and It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane, It’s Superman with the Devonshire Playhouse.
